Star Ocean: The Last Hope Remaster Announced For PS4

Square Enix announced today that Star Ocean: The Last Hope is headed to the PlayStation 4 and PC as a 4K and Full HD remaster.

During a special Star Ocean-themed livestream, Square Enix made the announced and also dropped the trailer (above) which shows off an incredibly detailed and much better looking trailer of the original game. According to the company, the game is set to release in Japan as a digital only title on November 28, and will run players 2,800 yen (~$24.99).

STAR OCEAN PROGRAM#17

The original Star Ocean: The Last Hope released way back in February of 2009 on the Xbox 360 and was followed by a release in 2010 for the PlayStation 3. At the time, those games only ran at about 720p, so the jump to 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro and full HD for the standard PS4 should be huge. In addition to the new visuals, it will also support trophies and share functionality.

The Star Ocean: The Last Hope remaster will launch on November 28 as a digital title in Japan.
