Today, a new Need For Speed Payback Street League team has been unveiled, and they are as bright and vibrant as anything the game has to offer. For those unaware, Street leagues are found within Fortune City, and offer players unique races and events.
The newest team, Noise Bomb, is billed as being a “drift” style team from Tokyo, Japan. As seems to be the custom with Japanese cars in games, their cars are small, fast, and filled with stickers. For more information on the team, including their boss Aki Kimura, check out below:

The drift league known as Noise Bomb is one of the best-known drift leagues in the world. Led by the “Drift King,” Aki Kimura, Noise Bomb has been touring the United States and breaking drift course records all over the country.
About the Boss
Called “the Drift King,” Kimura is a worldwide drifting legend. He cares little about Silver Rock politics, content to beat local records and create high-speed art with his crew.

Some people may be hesitant that Need for Speed still contains a cinematic-driven campaign mode. Unlike the last time around, however, this campaign appears to be focused on nothing but high-octane thrills, akin to a Fast & Furious movie, or, indeed, the Need for Speed movie which released in 2014. It is a bit early to tell if the campaign will be a success, but for the time being our focus was on how the racing felt.
Need for Speed has always let you play out your high-speed racing fantasies. Ghost Games knows how to present a racing game in cinematic form. This is their third attempt at such an entry, and it appears that the cinematics are taking a bit more of a backseat to the action. Time will tell how successful Ghost Games will be at it this time around. The driving is solid, and now we wait for Need for Speed Payback’s November 10 release date.
