Today, Bandai Namco announced more content is coming out for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, including a new game mode and characters. Also announced was a surprising collaboration with the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ.
According to Bandai Namco, the new game mode – called Hero Colosseum – will be available for free this coming Autumn on all versions of the game. Hero Colosseum will its own story mode where players will have a “tactical figurine battle,” whatever that means. Two new paid packs will also be available, both of which include a bunch of new characters. “Extra Pack 1” will be available in Autumn as well, but “Extra Pack 2” currently has no release information as of now. For what to expect in both packs, check out below:
- Extra Pack 1 available this Autumn will include Tapion, Android 13 and 2 new characters.
- Extra Pack 2 will contain a new original character, a new scenario and a new way to interact with Dragon Ball characters. On top of that, players may also discover an all new form Goku in the Extra Pack 2. More details to be revealed, stay tuned!
Perhaps the most surprising announcement from Bandai, however, is the fact that they will be partnering with the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ. According to the company, special items will be given to those who own both games, but no word has been given on exactly what those items will be. If you had to guess, I think the safest route might be costume packs or something of that sort, but make sure to stay tuned for any updated.
