Last week, new details were released on the final season of Year Two for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, named Operation White Noise. Now, Ubisoft has given us a more in-depth look at the map for Operation White Noise, Mok Myeok Tower, as well as a trailer detailing it.
As you can see from the trailer above, the tower is no joke. It’s a staggeringly tall communications and observation tower in Seoul, South Korea, and is tall enough to reach the clouds. In terms of the game, Mok Myeok has found itself under attack after its corrupt CEO is revealed. Your mission is to fight your way through the restaurant, nightclub, art gallery, and offices of the tower’s floors as you climb to the peak.
In a blog post over at Ubisoft’s website, the team behind the game goes into detail on why they chose the tower and what exactly the thought process behind it was. For all that, you can head over to their website, and for a brief look at what the map will do for you from a gameplay perspective, check out below:
At the break of dawn, the city awakens in a haze of untold dreams and routines to follow. Cars flow through the grid, halting now and then at the mercy of traffic. Soft morning light reflects off the windows on modern buildings, all designed to expectation and made tall by collective ambition. Snowflakes flutter down on the bustling metropolis. It’s business as usual until day turns into night when the streets take on their second identity and neon colors emerge from stacked billboard ads. A helicopter surveys the area, free from the restraints of the grid, rising above office buildings of tech giants. It finds the highest helipad on the tallest tower. Somewhere inside the tower, a breaching charge detonates.
Ubisoft still has more information planned to release later this month, so make sure to stay tuned.
