One of the biggest draws of PlayStation Plus on PlayStation 4 is the ability to play games online, but not everyone can afford to keep a constant subscription for the service. If you’re living in Europe and don’t have PlayStation Plus, you’re in luck right now, as you can now play PS4 online multiplayer for free until November 20. Note that this is only the online multiplayer that is part of this promotion–other PlayStation Plus features, including free games and exclusive sales prices, are not included.
The PlayStation.Blog has the exact details on when the PS4 online multiplayer ends:
Starting this Wednesday, 15th November at 10am GMT / 11am CET and running to Monday 20th November at 10am GMT / 11am CET, you’ll be able to take yourself – and your favourite games – online and test out your skills, or just explore vibrant worlds, with other PS4 players worldwide.
Please note this is only for players in Europe; other regions are not participating.
Not sure what game to play online during this deal? Call of Duty: WWII recently released, and Chandler Wood thinks it’s a pretty good game! Check out our review:
Call of Duty: WWII begins on D-Day. On June 6, 1944, a coalition of armies stormed the beaches of Normandy in what was to be a bloody and horrific battle, but set the stage for the rest of the war. WWII places a microscope on an individual squad that highlights some of the ferocity of this great siege. Riding in the boat is claustrophobic, surrounded by other soldiers, everyone’s nerves on edge. Then the gunfire and explosions start. The ramp drops, and most everyone around me dies. I lurch over the side of the boat in an attempt to avoid further shelling and find myself in a sea of red. The beach is a bloody mess of wounded and dead. The task ahead of me seems impossible.
What games will you be playing this weekend, multiplayer or otherwise?
