Super Robot Wars X Announced for PS4 and Vita

Bandai Namco has announced Super Robot Wars X, the newest title of their long-running Super Robot Wars series which gathers popular mecha anime shows in a crossover strategy RPG. As you can see in the trailer above, just like the previous game Super Robot Wars V, Bandai Namco is going to localize X to English, which will be released in Southeast Asia.

Super Robot Wars X will feature 23 titles; 5 of them make their SRW debut with this game. In addition to that, Masaki Ando and his Cybuster from one of SRW‘s original series Masou Kishin: The Lord of Elemental will also make a guest appearance in this game. However, the brand producer of SRW series Takanobu Terada has noted that his appearance will not be connected to the SRW Original Generations series in any way.

Super Robot Wars X will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 29, and in the rest of Asia on April 26, 2018. Although a Western release would be difficult due to IP licensing problems, you should be able to import the English version from Southeast Asia.
