Games We Love Podcast: NieR Automata (Episode One)

Everybody has that one game that they absolutely adore. Sometimes it’s a title from early in their childhood, a nostalgic title that transports them back to a simpler time. For others, it’s a more recent game that managed to capture their hearts through joyous gameplay or an emotional connection. Truly loving games is one of the most interesting parts of gaming, which I find to be the most personal medium of art, and it’s why I wanted to explore the topic via what I’m calling the Games We Love Podcast. Each episode will talk to a different person about a game that they have a personal connection with.

In the first episode of the Games We Love Podcast, I’m honored to be joined by the extremely talented Natalie Flores (her work is seen at RPG Site, ZAM, and other outlets) to talk about NieR: Automata. The latest title from Yoko Taro and company is extremely special to both of us, and I had a really great time talking to Natalie for over 45 minutes about what makes Automata such an impactful title.

Once again a major thank you to Natalie Flores for making this podcast possible. Make sure to follow her on Twitter, and read her work at RPG Site, ZAM, and other outlets. She’s one of the most talented writers I know, and an even better person.

Thanks for listening, and please let me know what you think of the episode!
