25. The Fools Who Dream
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Located in Onomichi.
- Watch the conversation at Ryunan Shrine, and then talk to the girl.
- Tell Misa to “Go tell him how you feel.”
- Return to the shrine. Beat up the thugs.
- Misa ran off near the Navy apartment. Talk to her and inform her that “Everyone just wants you to succeed.”
26. Sins of the Father
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Located in Onomichi.
- Watch the elderly couple’s argument on Second Hill. Talk to the man and agree to infiltrate the cult.
- Talk to the woman that is distributing pamphlets at the corner of West National Route 2. Tell her that you want to “join the Order of Munan Chohept Onast.”
- Correct answers to the quiz are: “Hept-onast,” “Kulipaas,” “Munan Akamatsu,” and “Re-education.”
- Fight Munan Akamatsu.
27. Pocket Circuit Fighter Returns
Unlocked at Chapter 5. Located in Onomichi.
- Go to Shops Alley and talk to Pocket Circuit Fighter in front of his tofu shop.
- Talk to Sakito, who is near La Pente.
- Leave the area, and then return to talk to Sakito again.
- Find Sakito at the Jingai Ferry Dock, and help defeat the punks.
28. The Curse of Onomichi
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Must be done at night. Located in Onomichi.
- Enter the graveyard at night (you can rest at your house to change the time of day) and fight the ghost.
- You’ll have to repeat this process four more times and leave the area before you’re able to do it again.
- Return to the graveyard.
29. Oh No! It’s Ono Michio!
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Located in Onomichi.
- Interact with the mascot head in front of Nagi Pharmacy
- Agree to become the mascot actor.
- Choose the following: “Introduce yourself passionately,” “Nice to michi!” “Oh no…!” “Onomichi ramen-michi!” “Oh no!”
- Fight the belligerent thugs.
30. The Ono Michio Show
Unlocked after completing sub stories 29 and 40. Located in Onomichi.
- Go to the north plaza in Hana-no-kunbo, and agree to help Hironaka.
- Sing “Today is a Diamond.”
31. Putting on a Brave Face
Unlocked after completing sub story 30. Located in Onomichi.
- Approach the mother and daughter across from Kiryu’s apartment
- Talk to Shizuko.
- Head over to Yonetoku to meet Hironaka.
- Tell Shizuko “Honestly, I am.”
- Beat up the gang of hooligans one more time.
32. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time?
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Located in Onomichi.
- Talk to the girl north of the graveyard at Hilltop Path. Agree to hear about her time leap and ask her a question.
- Talk to Miku, who is now on the Pedestrian Footbridge. Agree to listen to her story.
- Fight the punks and save Miku’s father.
33. A Freaky Situation
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Located in Onomichi.
- Watch the cutscene near the stairs in front of Ryunan Shrine, then talk to the boy.
- Defeat Muranaka and the others.
34. Assemble the Team
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Must be done during daytime. Located in Onomichi.
- Walk along Shishido Street and you’ll be approached by a man in a baseball uniform.
- Take a taxi to the baseball field.
- Play a baseball game (you’re supposed to lose).
35. We Need a Ringer
Unlocked after completing sub story 34. Located in Onomichi.
- Take a taxi to the baseball field.
- Go to the southwest part of Hana-no-kubo.
- Talk to Moritsuka and win the fight.
36. The Sweet Taste of Victory
Unlocked after completing sub story 35. Located in Onomichi.
- Take a taxi to the baseball field.
- Win the baseball game.
37. Decisive Battle! Jingai Thunders
Unlocked after completing sub story 36. Located in Onomichi.
- Take a taxi to the baseball field.
- Win the baseball game.
38. The Throne of Onomochi
Unlocked after completing sub story 37. Located in Onomichi.
- Take a taxi to the baseball field.
- Win the baseball game against the Legends.
39. True Bonds
Unlocked after completing sub story 38. Located in Onomichi.
- Take a taxi to the baseball field.
- Win the baseball game against Gorgeous.
40. The Joys of Adulthood
Unlocked after completing sub story 35. Located in Onomichi.
- Go to Snack New Gaudi and talk to Hatakeyama.
41. What’s the Matter with Kids Today?
Unlocked after getting your friendship to level 3 with Hatakeyama and level 1 with Gen. Located in Onomichi.
- Meet with Hatakayema outside of Snack New Gaudi.

- Go to La Pente.
42. Powerful Memories
Unlocked after getting your friendship to level 3 with Akiyoshi. Located in Onomichi.
- Meet with Akiyoshi outside of Snack New Gaudi.

- Talk to Akiyoshi on the Pedestrian Footbridge.
43. Tech Support
Unlocked after getting your friendship to level 3 with Gen. Located in Onomichi.
- Meet with Gen outside of Snack New Gaudi
- Do the conversation minigame (correct answers are Cross, Square, Square, Cross, Circle, Cross, Square, Square, Square, Cross, Cross, Circle, Cross, Circle, Cross, Cross, Triangle).
- Leave the area until you receive a text from Gen.
- Talk to Gen outside of Snack New Gaudi.
44. The Price of Love
Unlocked after getting your friendship to level 3 with Ando. Located in Onomichi.
- Meet with Ando outside of Snack New Gaudi.
- Wait for him at the Otafuku Pawn Shop.
- Go to the bar.
- Do the conversation minigame (correct answers are Cross, Cross, Square, Square, Cross, Square, Cross, Square, Cross, Square, Square, Cross, Cross, Circle, Circle, Cross, Square, Cross, Triangle).
- Go back to the Otafuku Pawn Shop and win the fight.
- Talk to Ando at the Jingai Ferry Dock.
45. Kaneko’s Resolve
Unlocked after getting your friendship to level 3 with Kaneko. Located in Onomichi.
- Meet with Kaneko outside of Snack New Gaudi.
- Do the conversation minigame (correct answers are Cross, Square, Cross, Square, Cross, Cross, Square, Square, Cross, Cross, Cross, Square, Cross, Square, Cross, Square, Triangle).
- Talk to Kaneko at the shrine.
46. Thanks For Everything, Mama
Unlocked after getting your friendship to level 3 with Mama. Located in Onomichi.
- Get a flyer on Jingai Main Street by Yonetoku.
- Go to Snack New Gaudi.
- Hide the note under the electric pot.
- Meet mama at the Jingai Ferry Dock (you’ll have to wait a while and Kiryu will say when it’s time).
- Do the conversation minigame (correct answers are Cross, Square, Cross, Square, Square, Square, Cross, Square, Square, Cross, Cross, Cross, Circle, Cross, Cross, Cross, Cross, Square, Triangle).
47. The Old Man and the Sea
Unlocked at chapter 4. Must be done during daytime. Located in Onomichi.
- Go to the Jingai Ferry Dock and examine the fish.
- Go check on Isao-san.
- Agree to go fishing.
- Play the Azure Coast level.
48. World’s Best Octopus
Unlocked after completing sub story 47. Located in Onomichi.
- Talk to the man standing next to Isao at the Jingai Ferry Dock.
- Play the Sunken Labyrinth level (if you’re having trouble against the boss, I had good luck with using the high-impact speargun and reloading after every two shots).
49. Deep Blue Sea
Unlocked after completing sub story 48. Located in Onomichi.
- Talk to Amano
- Play the Dragon’s Den level (I heavily recommend using the Kiwami Speargun that you get for completing sub story 46).
50. Crisis Management Professional
Unlocked at Chapter 4. Located in Onomichi.
- Go to Ropeway Station and talk to the man on the ground.
- Give Saigo a tonkatsu bento (buy the “Bento Lunch Set (Pork)” from the Poppo on West Shichifuku Street) and fight him.
- Saigo will now wander the streets of Onomichi, and you can talk to him to fight.
- Defeat him twice more, and he’ll then send you a text.
- Go to Ropeway Station, defeat Saigo, and you’ll finish his story.
51. Jo Amon
Unlocked at Finale (after Millennium Tower scene). You must also complete the two wandering fighter substories and have your stats above 200. Located in Kamurocho.
- After Amon texts you, go to a taxi and drive to Amon’s Island.
- This is one of the most difficult boss fights in the entire game, but it’s not nearly as difficult as some Amon fights in past games. Just watch out for the drones when they’re about to explode (they’ll start flashing and are one-hit kills), use health items, and you should beat it without much of a fuss.
- Note: You can also turn the difficulty down to easy if you’re having issues. Using extreme heat mode is also key as you can’t die while that’s activated, so use it wisely. This is definitely a battle that is more annoying and cheap than actually challenging. If you need a cheap way to win, stock up on heat items, and just always keep yourself in heat. You should be able to defeat Amon on easy that way.
