The busy fall gaming season is almost upon us. However, gamers in the United Kingdom kept favoring one game over all others during the summer of 2018. For eight weeks straight, the UK sales chart showed that Vicarious Visions’ Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy as the best-selling title in the region. Now, the tables have turned. Two recently released games, Shenmue & II and Codemasters’ F1 2018, have surpassed the sales of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
Here is the UK Sales Charts for the week ending August 25, 2018
- F1 2018
- Shenmue I & II
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- God of War
- LEGO The Incredibles
- Call of Duty: WWII
- The Crew 2
- FIFA 18
It’s interesting to note that, while Sony’s God of War is still holding steadily at 6th place, Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 has returned to the chart.
As I’ve mentioned it many times before, it’s only a matter of time before UK gamers get back to what they love the most. I feel like that explains why EA’s FIFA 18 made a comeback this week too.
