Bandai Namco has showed off more of the Black Clover: Quartet Knights cast with character trailers for Gauche, Klaus, and Yami. If you missed the recent open beta, hopefully this can give you an idea of the kind of gameplay you can expect when the game releases September 14, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
In the first video, we see Gauche Adlai attack from a far with a sort of magical beam and use his teleportation ability for quick, steady bursts of movement. He can also conjure up ice walls to defend himself. He can also create duplicate characters to go into battle on his behalf.
Klaus Lunettes also attacks from a distance, but his ability is much more reminiscent of shooting, complete with small, powerful bursts. We also see icy barriers appear, a long spike attack cut through enemies, and four shields being conjured up for protection in his trailer.
Lastly, we get a glimpse of Yami Sukehiro and his sword attacks. His combat style is more multifaceted than the others, with attacks varying in proximity. He can create a sort of protective orb, as well as a small black hole to pull in enemies.
Get to know the entire cast of characters when Black Clover: Quartet Knights comes out on September 14, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
