Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight are just a few months away, and Atlus really wants you to grab both as a set when they launch in December 2018. To that end, each game will come with a bonus character and music track, provided you preorder the Day One editions.
On the Persona 3 side, preordering nets you Shinjiro Aragaki, and Goro Akechi comes with the Persona 5 game. Shinjiro comes with “Battle Hymn of the Soul,” the Persona 3 final boss theme. Goro comes with “Will Power,” the Persona 5 “Persona awakening theme.” As the Vita versions are digital-only, the characters will be available for free for the game’s first two weeks.
A new trailer has been released showing off both characters in action, along with some of their alternative costumes. Seeing Shinjiro without his gloomy skullcap is about the weirdest thing I’ve seen so far today, to be quite honest.
While each game is being released separately, if you want to make sure you get the bonuses and all the goodies, Atlus is also offering the Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection. This includes the whole series, even Persona 4: Dancing All Night for PS4. The Vita versions have a bundle of their own as well, which doesn’t include the Persona 4 game, but does include an exclusive Megaverse Costume Pack featuring designs based on other Shin Megami Tensei characters.
Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight are set to release for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on December 4, 2018.
