Don’t Sleep on the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Bundle

For a hot minute, it was tough to be a Mega Man fan. Capcom’s attempts at changing the formula didn’t really go anywhere, and once Inafune left Capcom, the character was all but banished to merchandising purgatory. But then the Mega Man Legacy Collection happened, lightning struck, and people realized they still liked Mega Man enough to spend money on the little guy. Now we have Mega Man 11, and it’s pretty great. as part of the celebration, Capcom launched a massive bundle on the PlayStation Store, and it’s a heck of a deal if you don’t already have any of its contents.

It’s called the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Bundle, and it has everything. For 60 bucks, you can snag the entire, PlayStation 4-based Mega Man library, which is about as comprehensive as it gets when it comes to the core titles. Here’s what comes in the bundle:

  • Mega Man Legacy Collection
  • Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
  • Mega Man X Legacy Collection
  • Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2
  • Mega Man 11

Obviously, if you’re a big-time Mega Man dork like myself, you’ve probably got physical copies of this whole set hanging out on your shelf already. But if you want digital backups, or you’re someone who has always been curious about Mega Man but wanted to wait for something like this, here it is. While these sets are bound to go on sale at times, when you consider the full retail prices, this bundle is kind of a steal.
