Dreams PS4 Beta

Dreams Beta Is Still Set to Arrive in 2018

Described by Alex Evans, Co-Founder of Media Molecule, as “a game engine with a game,” Dreams allows players to create their own games, play others’ creations, and undergo a traditional campaign. From the looks of it, Dreams is one of the most ambitious creation games to date, but that level of freedom can be hard to wrap your head around. Of course, it’s all hype until gamers can get their hands on the product. But we’re not far away from that, as a Dreams beta is coming in 2018.

In an interview with Game Informer, Alex Evans, reaffirmed that the beta for Dreams will release sometime this year. Fortunately for players, any creations made during the beta will carry over into the main game.

While Evans encourages creators to use their own imaginations to make their dreams into games, people will undoubtedly draw inspiration/make comparisons to existing titles. Even Media Molecule’s own livestream of the game evoked Dark Souls vibes.

There’s no word yet on how to gain access to the beta, or what it entails, but we’ll update you as soon as Media Molecule has more information.
