S.O.N’s Tension-Filled Trailer Reveals Its Release Date

For the last several months, RedG Studios’ psychological horror title, S.O.N, has been making the rounds. From what the studio’s shown so far, suspense and tension seem perfectly employed. Each gameplay trailer proves more compelling than the last. Thankfully, the launch of a fourth trailer brings with it an official release date. S.O.N will arrive on the PlayStation 4 on December 11, 2018.

Check out the new gameplay trailer below:

It is similar to a few of S.O.N’s other gameplay trailers, with hints about the story trickled throughout. A father, Robert Alderson, searches for his missing son in a notoriously strange forest. As he scours the area, scary things happen.

A brief synopsis of what to expect from the title features in the trailer’s video description. Read it below:

On December 11th, you will experience an epic psychological horror game set in modern day. You play as Robert Alderson in search of his missing son Jay who went missing deep in the Pennsylvania forest, better known as South Of Nowhere. In a world where fear takes control over everyone and your past is never erased. What fears and demons will you face to get back your loved ones?

Unfortunately, the December 2018 release date means S.O.N won’t be available for Halloween. Perhaps this is the perfect time to return to PS4 horror staples such as Outlast or Until Dawn, while you wait?
