Japan is gearing up for the release of God Eater 3 in December, and while North America and Europe won’t see it until 2019, that won’t stop the information from flowing. As a new, limited-time demo has launched on the Japanese PSN, Bandai Namco also held an official broadcast for the game, and revealed an exciting new game mode.
The mode is a new mission type, called Assault Subjugation. In this mode, eight players can join together to take on a powerful boss, but the catch is there’s a five minute time limit. Luckily, Bandai Namco doesn’t hate you too much for wanting a challenge, and players who can’t get the job done in five minutes can still earn rewards. Also, if eight players don’t get all matched up properly, God Eater 3 will fill in empty slots with NPCs.
If that sounds fun, players hopping onto the new action demo are in for a treat. Assault Subjugation will be available in the demo during its last two days, from October 20 – 21, 2018.
During the broadcast, the official Japanese box art was also revealed for God Eater 3, which you can take a look at right here:
God Eater 3 will release in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 4 and the PC sometime in 2019.
