new bethesda office

Bethesda’s Newest Office Is in Russia

Bethesda Softworks has opened up a brand-new office in Moscow, Russia. The new office will deal with sales and marketing through Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. It will be lead by Simeon Chirikov, who has prior experience working at EA and Wargaming. He also recently acted as a consultant for Bethesda, so he already has experience with the company.

The newly-formed office is not a studio and will not be dealing with game development in any form. The office will help expand Bethesda’s efforts to publish and distribute its titles worldwide.

Sean Brennan, Bethesda’s European Managing Director, said, “The opening of the office in Moscow is a very exciting moment for Bethesda. We have an incredible roster of upcoming games… Simeon’s extensive knowledge of the Russian and CIS markets will help us to maximize and deliver upon all these titles’ potential.”

Bethesda certainly has a full slate of games headed our way in the coming years. Fallout: 76, which we recently previewed, is launching on November 14, 2018. DOOM Eternal is coming in the future, although it has no release date currently. In addition, Bethesda Game Studios has two highly-anticipated titles in the pipeline, The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield. The company has also been busy with other corporate changes, as it recently renamed its Dallas studio.
