Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continues to build on its base game and in winter 2018, you’ll see that trend continue with a new game mode being added. The addition is called My Raid Mode and was revealed in V-Jump. The player uses a new item called “Crystal of the Dark Demon Realm” to become a Supervillain raid boss. As a boss, you’ll be placed in a one-versus-five battle against other players.
The following characters are limited to My Raid Mode: Fused Zamasu, Demigra, and Mira. Those who emerge victorious from this epic battle will be rewarded with plenty of experience, Zenny, and a random event-exclusive accessory. So if My Raid Mode doesn’t draw you in with its novelty, perhaps its incentives will.
There’s been plenty of DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, as well as free content updates sprinkled throughout, suffice it to say it has come a long way since our original review. Hopefully all of it is enough to satiate this franchise’s sizable community and keep this title, originally released in 2016, relevant.
