Dragon Age Comic Book

Head Into the Tevinter Imperium in Dragon Age: Deception

Do you wish you had more Dragon Age in your life? Look no further! Dark Horse Comics has just released the first issue of Dragon Age: Deception, a canonical comic that takes place in Tevinter Imperium, an unreachable location within the Dragon Age universe that has only been mentioned by characters in passing.

The Tevinter Imperium is the oldest surviving human nation in Thedas, ruled by a group known as Magisters. Though it is a shadow of its former self, the nation remains a force to be reckoned with.

A description of the comic book’s plot can be read below:

Olivia Pryde hasn’t worked an honest day in years. Once an actress, she now lives by the con, and has come to Tevinter with a new target: Calix Qintara, the heir to a wealthy house. Once she approaches the young man, she quickly realizes that he is not exactly who he says he is–and she may be in too deep.

It’s worth noting that the people behind this comic are the same creative forces behind Dragon Age: Knight Errant. How does this comic sound, Dragon Age fans? Worth a buy?

If you’d rather read a book, that’s no problem, either. Check out Keri Honea’s lore series, in which she talks about aspects of characters from the novels.
