Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PS4 Gives You Early Access to the Black Market

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is bringing the Black Market back. It’s coming to the PlayStation 4 on October 19, 2018. This is a big deal, as other platforms have to wait seven more days.

With the Black Ops 4 Black Market, players can shop for gear and acquire more customization options. Unlocking these items has been streamlined, so simply playing the game allows you to unlock content such as tags, gestures, customizable outfits, calling cards, stickers, Blackout characters, and signature weapons.

Studio Design Director at Treyarch, David Vonderhaar, walks players through the process in this tutorial video.

More items will arrive through seasonal Operations, delivering new content every few months. The first season starts today. Here’s what’s included, according to Activision’s recent blog post.

All-New Blackout Characters– New playable characters will be released with each new Operation.

Signature Weapons

Specialists Outfits – Cool customization content built around themes for all Specialists in-game; you can even mix and match the look of your character within outfit sets.

Tags / Gestures – Whether you’re taunting opponents or celebrating a victory, Tags and Gestures are a perfect way to express yourself in the game

For even more customization options, fans have Special Events to look forward to. Blackjack’s Shop, set to arrive in November 2018, which will allow you to purchase some gear “with limited availability.” This shop will refresh weekly, so that there’s always something to look forward to cosmetically.

Black Market is live today on the PlayStation 4 and arrives on Xbox One and PC, seven days later, on October 26, 2018.
