Killsquad Console Release Window Announced by Novarama

Killsquad Gets PS4, Xbox One Release Window After Stellar Early Access Launch on Steam

Indie developer Novarama has announced that the co-op, action-RPG, Killsquad, which is currently available on PC through Steam’s Early Access program, will be heading to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in 2020. No exact date was given, or even an estimate on when during the year, but we know that it’s coming sometime next year. Novarama revealed that Killsquad not only surpassed the studio’s projected week one sales figures, but doubled them, with over 65,000 units sold since its Early Access debut on Steam on July 16, 2019.

Killsquad‘s Game Director, Dani Sanchez-Crespo, had this to say about the massive success that the game has seen in such a short span of time:

We are truly blown away by the highly positive reception Killsquad has received during the Early Access launch,” … “This motivates us to continue our hard work catering to the growing player base and acknowledging its feedback with continuous patches and updates. With such an involved community, the future of Killsquad is looking bright.

Novarama‘s Killsquad is a top-down view, co-op action-RPG set in space, which allows players to control one of four classes of bounty hunter as they take on various contracts for different organizations. Players can play the game’s procedurally generated levels solo or with up to four friends. The goal of these bounty hunters is to plunder planets for whatever valuables they can find. Each class will feature its own unique set of abilities, with players able to gain new skills each time they level up. Players will also be able to upgrade their weapons, acquire new gear, and customize the appearance of their bounty hunter with skins, because frankly, who wants to look bland while fighting bosses and hordes of enemies?
