Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is getting another event, the Back N. Time Grand Prix. Starting on August 2, 2019, you’ll be sent back to prehistoric times to race alongside dinosaurs. But that’s not all: Back N. Time will also see the introduction of baby Crash and baby Coco, with pacifiers and all.
Let’s take a look at what else will be coming with this latest update.
Like the Nitro Tour Grand Prix, Back N. Time will also see the addition of new characters, skins, a new track, challenges, and rewards.
Here are the list of characters and skins that will come with the new update:
- Baby Crash
- Baby Coco
- Caveman Zem
- Mad Scientist Crash
- Mad Scientist Ripper Roo
- Sabertooth Pura
- Stone Age N. Tropy
On top of that, a new track will be introduced: Prehistoric Playground. A clip from the upcoming event showed a brontosaurus and triceratops hanging out as Crash and friends whipped by on new karts. Check it out below:
With this update, you’ll see a lot of new rewards, too. These range from bronze, silver, and gold, and will give you a wide variety of things to unlock like characters, skins, and karts. Plus, a slew of challenges will be added that will reward you with Nitro Points. These range from coming in first, mastering power slides, and using certain characters. Aside from new paint jobs and stickers, Back N. Time will add a Champion Kart and Signature Decal for those who finish in the top 5% of the Grand Prix leaderboard too.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has been a major success for Beenox and Activision. The game took the number 2 spot during the month of June in terms of dollars earned in the United States. And it reached over one million players on the PS4 version alone.
