Concrete Genie developer, Pixelopus, has made some fans jump in joy by adding an accessibility option that allows players to control the game with the right stick.
Back in June, Twitter user Cherry Rae said that they were “heartbroken” that they couldn’t play Concrete Genie because of its reliance on motion controls. Cherry Rae is disabled and finds motion controls cumbersome. Turns out, they weren’t the only one.
Apologizing for a late response, Pixelopus told the fan that their wish has been granted. You can see the full exchange below (thanks, DualShockers):
I am heartbroken #concretegenie is motion control ): is it possible to paint without MC? I was SO excited for this but MC causes me a lot of pain and injury. It’s also extremely difficult for me to do accurately due to disability. Pls tell me I can play too @Pixelopus ! #a11y https://t.co/feAALal30C

Hi @cherryrae! Sorry it has taken us so long to reply to this thread. Concrete Genie now has a right stick control option in its accessibility options, and allows you to adjust its sensitivity in controlling the cursor. We hope it helps you play our game when it comes out
