Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut didn’t just do well at U.S. retail, it also comfortably sat atop August 2021’s PlayStation Store download chart in both Europe and U.S./Canada.
In the U.S. and Canada, Madden NFL 22 took the top spot on the PS5 and Ghost of Tsushima settled for second position. In Europe, the Sucker Punch hit stole the crown followed by Hades in the second spot. On the PS4, Madden NFL 22 and Grand Theft Auto V headlined the charts in both regions.
Interestingly, Double Fine’s highly-anticipated Psychonauts 2 failed to crack the top 20 on both the PS4 and PS5. However, it’s worth noting that Psychonauts 2 was only out for six days before the month ended, so it’s possible that we’ll see it in September’s top charts.
