Ghost Recon Breakpoint Getting Free Weekend, Includes the New Operation Motherland Mission

As part of its 35th anniversary celebrations, Ubisoft has announced a free weekend for Ghost Recon Breakpoint starting November 4th. New players can download the title on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, PC, and Google Stadia. Preload is currently only available on PC. The full timetable is as follows:

You’ll get full access to the base game as well as the new Operation Motherland mission and its associated rewards. Should you decide to purchase the full game, all your progress will carry over.

In Operation Motherland, players will assist Karen Bowman and the Outcasts in liberating Auroa. The new enemy is a powerful faction hellbent on preventing Ghosts from completing their mission. Operating Motherland also comes with a new mode.

An official overview is as follows:

Conquest Mode marks the return of faction warfare to Ghost Recon Breakpoint. As players conquer Auroa, the Outcast presence will increase in the wild and in encampments, making faction warfare more frequent.

Conquest Mode will also bring back the all-time favorite gameplay feature, the Optical Camo. It allows the player to be invisible to enemies until a certain distance, the more a player progresses in the game, the more effective the camouflage is. Once the optical camo is unlocked, players will also be able to use it in the Story mode.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint‘s progression system has also been improved, offering new objectives with more XP. Last but not least, maximum XP level has been increased from 30 to 99.
