Big Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Expansion Reportedly Leaked Ahead of Livestream Event

Ubisoft has announced that it’ll be hosting a livestream on Monday to discuss the future of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Well, not in these exact words but the company tweeted that there’s more to see in the game than Midgard and we’ll have to tune in on Monday, December 13th, at 9am PT/12 pm ET (you can catch the livestream on YouTube).

This announcement came mere days after a report emerged that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due to receive two pieces of downloadable content, one of which will be out as soon as this month and the other is scheduled for March 2022. The report came from known insider and reliable leaker Tom Henderson, who heard from his sources that the DLC set for March will add about 40 hours of gameplay, and it’s a “massive, God of War-style expansion.” It now looks like information about the content has been leaked by Chinese stores ahead of time, per Reddit and ResetEra users.

According to a translation provided on Reddit, the expansion is titled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, and it takes place in the “magnificent Nine Realms” from Norse mythology, where Eivor will apparently witness the fate of Odin. If this leak is accurate, Dawn of Ragnarok will release on March 10, 2022.

The Reddit post also contains photos, which we won’t share here due to the risk of copyright claims. However, if you don’t care about spoilers and are curious, head over there and see for yourself.

We’ll have official information to share on Monday.
