Suicide Squad Delayed

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delayed Until 2023 According to Latest Rumors

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has reportedly become the latest title to be delayed from its original release window. According to people familiar with the project, publisher Warner Bros. has quietly delayed the game out of 2022, although the reasons for this delay are unknown.

When will Suicide Squad be released?

Suicide Squad will now be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2023, according to people familiar with the game’s development. Bloomberg claims the game was delayed “quietly” and no reason has been given for its move to next year. However, other Warner Bros. titles like Hogwarts Legacy and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga had already been delayed due to the effects of the Covid pandemic on development and it is assumed the reason for this game’s delay is somewhat similar.

Despite the delay, Warner Bros. is still intending to deliver “a full slate of highly anticipated games” through 2022. Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and MultiVersus are all due to be released throughout this year, then there is Wonder Woman that doesn’t yet have a release date. There are also likely to be titles that haven’t been announced yet.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League features Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark after they’re forced to band together to carry out orders from Amanda Waller’s Task Force X. The catch is they’re restrained by lethal explosives that have been planted in their heads. All four characters will be playable and will come with their own movesets, customizable weapons and skills.

In other news, it turns out the total value of the Microsoft/Activision, Take-Two/Zynga, and Sony/Bungie acquisitions is around $85 billion dollars. All of these happened in just a single month yet this is the same value as all of the publicly disclosed acquisitions within the entirety of 2021.
