Marvels Avengers No Content Roadmap

Marvel’s Avengers Next Update Is Coming In March But Still No Roadmap

Marvel’s Avengers will be getting its next content update in March. Patch 2.3 will rework the War Table and mission select amongst other things. However, Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal have said there’s still no content roadmap for Marvel’s Avengers as they’re not yet ready to reveal it.

What to expect from Marvel’s Avengers Patch 2.3

Patch 2.3 will reintroduce Nick Fury as the leader of SHIELD and he will join Director Hill in coordinating Avengers initiative missions. His reappearance has been caused by alterations to the War Table so that finding, selecting, and launching missions as players level up through the Avengers Initiative will be different. The aim is to increase the matchmaking pool by making content easier to find.

Other changes to be made will be more balancing for gear perks while gear sets will be rewards for completing a wider range of activities.Units will become rewards for several end-game activities as the recent addition of the Shipment System has unbalanced the Units economy. Weekly rewards can still be earned per hero (rather than per account) on Mega Hives as well as the Omega-Level Threat and the Raid. Finally, there will be a raft of other gameplay improvements and bug fixes. More information on Patch 2.3 is promised as it gets closer to release next month.

The trio say they “aren’t yet ready to reveal the next full roadmap” although there’s no hints on when this will appear. As always, we’ll be sure to let you know when it does.

In other news, Ubisoft revealed their financial results for the last quarter as well as their plans for the next financial year. A few games were conspicuously absent, namely Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, XDefiant, Roller Champions, The Division Heartland, and Rocksmith+. Ubisoft also announced their upcoming Dawn of Ragnarok DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be Ubisoft’s biggest expansion yet.
