Hogwarts Legacy Release

Rumor: Hogwarts Legacy Could Be In March’s Playstation State of Play

Prominent Twitter-leaker @AccNGT is suggesting that Hogwarts Legacy will be included in the also-rumored March PlayStation State of Play. As part of a speculation thread started by Tom Henderson, who previously leaked details regarding Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse, NGT chimed in and really got the thread buzzing.

Could we see Hogwarts Legacy included in a March State of Play?

In response to Henderson’s thread, leaker @Shpeshal_Nick commented that the alleged March PlayStation State of Play would be “the good one.” Of course, this spiraled into speculation about what “the good one” could possibly include. NGT then retweeted Shpeshal’s comment with a wand emoji, setting further speculation ablaze for the highly anticipated game.

Recently, NGT leaked rumored details about the Hogwarts Legacy release date, stating that it would be a September release for 2022. Which would, in fact, make a March State of Play great timing for official details to emerge, and a pre-holiday release for a family-oriented game would make sense.

No one has said that the March State of Play will exclusively feature Hogwarts Legacy, nor has anyone said anything at all about how significant a role it will play. At this point, it all boils down to one wand emoji causing a whole lot of fuss.

In January, NGT posted a tweet about the release date of the game staying in 2022. Later confirmed by WarnerMedia CEO, Jason Kilar. “As I said a few weeks ago, according to my info, Hogwarts Legacy will be released on Quarter 3 of this year,” they wrote. “The development is going well.”

In a follow-up tweet, the leaker further said, “On Hogwarts Legacy, because some people have asked about that, expect a September release, next trailer based on skills/abilities in February/March (PlayStation event in any case).” It’s unclear if NGT has additional information, prompting the wand emoji, or the same information; regardless, the leaker has remained consistent on their information regarding the game.
