Star Trek Prodigy Supernova Leaked

Star Trek: Prodigy Supernova for PS4 and PS5 Leaked at Convention

Star Trek: Prodigy Supernova, a new game from publisher Outright Games, has been leaked at a Star Trek Convention. The game, in development at Tessera Studios, will be coming to PS4 and PS5. However, we know very little else about it at the moment and it seems we’ll have to wait another month for those details.

What do we know about Star Trek: Prodigy Supernova?

Star Trek Prodigy Supernova

Star Trek: Prodigy Supernova will be based on the Nickelodeon Star Trek: Prodigy TV series that features a crew of young aliens from Delta Quadrant. Set five years after the USS Voyager returned to Earth, the group finds an abandoned Starfleet ship, the USS Protostar, within the Tars Lamora prison colony. Throughout the series, they’ve found themselves taking control of the ship and attempting to make their way towards the Alpha Quadrant. How closely the game will follow the events of the TV series remains to be seen.

The game will feature some of the more prominent characters of the show according to the poster spotted at the Star Trek convention in Chicago by TrekCore.com (thanks GamesRadar). The crew’s captain Dal R’El, Gwyndala, Jankom Pog, Zero, Rok-Tahk, and Murf a feature in the crew lineup, while Kathryn Janeway will also make an appearance. Outright Games has promised they will be revealing the game properly next month via their Youtube channel so expect more of the finer details to be cleared up then.

In other news, a job listing has revealed Bungie is planning to expand the Destiny universe into a multi-media IP. Potential projects in consideration include movies, TV shows, books, comics, and  “audio formats”. Elsewhere, the underperformance of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in terms of sales will not stop a sequel from being developed. Eidos Montreal says it has plans for where the characters could go in the future.
