The Isle of Bigsnax, the free DLC update coming to Bugsnax, has gotten a release date for later this month. The update will come with a new island biome complete with giant Bugsnax and a completely new method of capturing them. Players will also get their own customizable hut in Snaxburg, new activities, and bug hats.
When is the Bugsnax The Isle of Bigsnax release date?
Bugsnax’s free DLC update The Isle of Bigsnax will be released on April 28, 2022. The biggest change to the game will be the titular island biome that’s risen out of the ocean off the coast of Snaktooth Island. Players can access the area by talking to Snorpy in Snaxburg once they have finished all of his side quests. Those who have already completed Bugsnax can hit Continue to be placed in Snaxburg before the point of no return at the end of the game, which means players don’t have to replay anything to get to the free update.
Chandlo, Floofty, Triffany, and Shelda will join players as they head over to the new island full of giant Bugsnax and new environmental puzzles. The DLC has given developer Young Horses the chance to include new creatures and foods they couldn’t fit into the game originally, as well as the customizable hut back in Snaxburg. The hut was left half-finished in the original game but now it can be turned into a two-floor home with around 180 different items to use to personalize it. Finally, if you want to customize your captured Snax at Gramble’s barn, you can go on a hat hunt. All of this should add hours of free entertainment when the update is released later this month.
In other news, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be released next month for PS4 and PS5 and there were details of how the game will interact with the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Elsewhere, Rogue Factor and Nacon will be bringing the third-person action-adventure game Hell Is Us to PS5 next year.
