A Marvel’s Black Panther game is reportedly in development, according to known insider and journalist Jeff Grubb. Grubb first teased that he’ll soon talk about a big Marvel project on an Xbox Era podcast over the weekend, and last night, he revealed that the project in question is a Black Panther game, details of which he’ll share on his show that’ll be livestreamed at 11 am ET today.
Black Panther game could be former Uncharted writer Amy Hennig’s Marvel project

We recently heard rumors that publisher Electronic Arts is working on a Marvel game but I’m personally think Grubb is talking about Skydance New Media Studio’s Marvel game that was announced last October. To refresh our readers’ memories, former Uncharted writer Amy Hennig is helming a blockbuster AAA action-adventure game based on a Marvel property but we haven’t yet been told which one. What we do know is that actress Janina Gavankar is involved in the project. She confirmed as much on Twitter shortly after Skydance’s press release.
“I can’t imagine a better partner than Marvel for our first game. The Marvel Universe epitomizes all the action, mystery and thrills of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and lends itself perfectly to an interactive experience,” Hennig said in October 2021. “It’s an honor to be able to tell an original story with all the humanity, complexity, and humor that makes Marvel characters so enduring and to enable our players to embody these heroes that they love.”
Stay tuned as we’ll update our readers when we have more information.
