PS5 and PS4 Releases: Every Game Release Date for Week Beginning August 15, 2022

This week the list of new games coming out on PS5 and PS4 during the week of August 15-21, 2022, includes the first AAA game of the month in the form of EA’s latest American football offering. There is a similar number of new game releases as the last couple of weeks, but there’s definitely a sporting theme in the list of all of games coming to PlayStation consoles throughout the week.

Madden NFL 23

There are 12 games coming to PS5, while PS4 players get a choice of 11 new game releases, a lower number than PS5 games for the first time this month. There’s a distinct sports theme this week with American football, hunting, baseball, golf, and roller skating, albeit the last one also involves guns. Those who aren’t keen on sports get solitaire, a musical odyssey, a Souls-like RPG, and a vacation with a difference.
