The PS Stars January Balloon Collectible is now available for PlayStation Stars subscribers to unlock. For this month’s balloon, players will need to have played Elden Ring. The balloon is part of the “Hard Game Club 2023,” so subscribers can expect to see similar challenges centered around tough games in the months to come.
Unlocking the PS Stars January Balloon Collectible
To unlock the PS Stars January Balloon Collectible, PlayStation Stars subscribers must do the following:
- Have beaten Godrick the Grafted in Elden Ring on PS5 or PS4.
- This will be the first boss for most players, not including the starting area enemy that players are supposed to lose to.
- Boot up Elden Ring on either PS5 or PS4.
- The January Balloon will then be unlocked.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t yet seem like challenges can be unlocked retroactively. This means that users who haven’t yet beaten Godrick won’t be able to earn this reward, even if they go and beat him now. The challenge won’t appear.
Once unlocked, the January Balloon can be equipped in players’ display cases.
While this January Balloon is exclusively available to Elden Ring players, there are two other Collectibles for January 2023 that can be unlocked by anyone.
