PS5 console stock supply has been increased worldwide, making them much easier to find according to Sony. While “unprecedented demand” and component shortages meant that there are still some players who have been unable to source a console since its launch, more PS5 consoles are now available at retailers globally.
PS5s now available at PlayStation Direct in US and Europe
Sony currently has stock of PS5 console available through PlayStation Direct in the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This is just in time for the arrival of the much-anticipated PSVR 2 headset on February 22. The console maker thanked fans for their patience over the last couple of years and promised that they “should now have a much easier time finding one” now that PS5 stock levels have been increased around the world.
As well as the upcoming PSVR 2 headset and the newly released DualSense Edge PS5 “Pro” controller, there will be more “platform features” coming during 2023. Sony didn’t elaborate on what these features might be, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what gets announced further down the line. To help with this, though, Sony has just launched a ‘Live from PS5’ TV spot that is meant to showcase upcoming games, accessories, and PS5 features, and may well have teased Uncharted 5.
