Former God of War and Uncharted devs have been quietly working on a new IP together with a team of industry veterans. Founded by Titanfall and Apex Legends leads, Wildlight Entertainment boasts a collection of impressive resumes.
God of War, Uncharted devs new IP has been in development for some time
According to its website, Wildlight Entertainment is a “fully-funded” remote studio “hyper focused on creating big, bold, original gaming universes of epic quality and scale.”
Wildlight says its unannounced IP has been in development for a while but it’ll “be a bit” before the devs have something to share with fans.
“We’re a close-knit bunch who’ve helped create some of the biggest IPs in gaming, including Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and Titanfall,” the website continues. Indeed, the dev team’s resumes highlight beloved games like Call of Duty, What Remains of Edith Finch, Uncharted 2, The Last of Us, Resistance 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War 3, and more.
“We are driven by our deep passion for making AAA games that leave a lasting impact on the world and we match that drive with a commitment to quality in every aspect of our work,” Wildlight says.
It all sounds quite promising so far!
