PSVR 2 is coming out extremely soon, and people are getting quite excited. PlayStation has been showing off its collection of launch games which features over 40 different titles, some of which are VR adaptations of previously existing titles. That’s not all though, as Sony has announced that the PSVR 2 will have demos and game trials for owners of the platform.
PSVR 2 to have demos
According to a Sony blog post, PSVR 2 will have both demos and trials at launch. These won’t be available for every single title, but will be available for the following games:
- Horizon: Call of The Mountain
- Resident Evil Village
- Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge
The same blog post also promises more demos but also states that the content available may vary by region, meaning you likely won’t be able to access everything everywhere. The Horizon Call of The Mountain demo should be fine, however, given that it’s a Sony first-party title.
It is possible that you’ll need to have PS Plus Premium to download these though, especially since Sony specifically uses the term ‘trial’ in the blog post. This won’t be an issue for many PSVR 2 owners, but it’s something worth thinking about.
