PS Plus Blade of Darkness

PS Plus Premium May Get PC Classic Blade of Darkness This Month

Sony is yet to reveal the list of games that will be added to PS Plus Premium this month, but it seems like one of them may be the classic PC game Blade of Darkness. The game has recently gotten PS5 and PS4 trophy lists, implying it will soon be making its debut on those consoles a mere 22 years after it was first released.

The games coming to PS Plus Premium in March 2023

Sony has already announced a handful of games that will be coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in March, although they’re all native PS4 or PS5 titles. Ghostwire Tokyo, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will all be added on March 16, while Tchia will be released into PS Plus on day one on March 21. None of the PS Plus Classics have been revealed yet, but a 22-year-old game could easily be amongst them.

Blade of Darkness is a hack-and-slash game originally released on PC in 2001 as Severance: Blade of Darkness. As one of the four Champions of Ianna — Zoe the Amazon, Tukaram the Barbarian, Naglfar the Dwarf, or Sargon the Knight — players must confront the Darkness that threatens the future of The Central Kingdoms. Blade of Darkness has since been ported to Nintendo Switch and looks like it will debut on PS5 and PS4 soon if the Exophase trophy lists are any indication, potentially as part of PS Plus.
