A datamine has reportedly leaked all of the Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries mode starting characters and costumes. While the list may not come as much of a surprise to those who played the original game on PS2 or Gamecube, there are some additions that mean the mode will start with eight playable characters.
Who are the Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries mode starting characters?
There will be six characters launching with Mercenaries mode on April 7 according to the datamine leak, although two of those will have two versions making a total of eight playable characters:
- Leon S. Kennedy (2 Versions)
- Ada Wong (2 Versions)
- HUNK
- Albert Wesker
- Jack Krauser
- Luis Sera
Leaker @biohazarddoctor provided images of all eight of the playable characters, although his first tweets erroneously included one of the Leon S. Kennedy skins twice. The missing skin was Jack Krauser, which can be seen in another of his Tweets.
Capcom is yet to release any official details about the upcoming mode with the exception of the release date of the free update, so take this with a pinch of salt for now. However, the publisher did also reveal it has started work on the game’s VR mode update, although that’s likely to be quite a way away from release.
