Response to the game’s stellar showcase has been overwhelmingly positive, with quite a few newcomers to the series claiming they’ve been compelled to pre-order Final Fantasy 16.

Social media sites and gaming forums have been inundated with comments about Final Fantasy 16’s graphics, facial animations, combat, and soundtrack. Many noted that despite compression on YouTube, the game looked stunning.
Folks over at PushSquare noted that not long after the showcase, Final Fantasy 16 quickly climbed up the list of Amazon’s best-sellers based on pre-orders alone. In the United States, the $99.99 Deluxe Edition is currently the number one best-seller, whereas in the United Kingdom, an Amazon exclusive standard edition is currently the fifth best-selling game.
“This is looking like the best FF game of the modern era,” wrote one Redditor. “Everything about this game is top tier.” “Wasn’t expecting much but I gotta admit I got pretty hyped and I really want to play it now,” added another.
Sony will be certainly pleased by the response, especially after the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League disaster.
