The PS5 Pro is officially here, and with it comes some of the first PS5 Pro enhanced games, a list of titles that will immediately benefit from the console’s new list of improvements.
Alongside the PS5 Pro’s announcement today, Sony also confirmed that when the console launches on November 7, 2024, a handful of games will be getting immediate upgrades to support the system’s enhanced power. This means the games will get the benefit of better visuals, advanced ray tracing, and the ability to play in high-fidelity while at 60fps, in most cases.
What are the first PS5 Pro enhanced games?
The first list of PS5 Pro enhanced games include some of the biggest titles available on the PlayStation 5 and some that will take advantage of the console’s advanced ray tracing as well. The list includes:
- Alan Wake 2
- Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
- Demon’s Souls
- Dragon’s Dogma 2
- Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
- F1 24
- Gran Turismo 7
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
- The Crew Motorfest
- The First Descendant
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered
The list of games is set to expand by the time the console launches, however. According to a report from CNET, a total of 40-50 games will be given some sort of PS5 Pro upgrade for the console’s launch. The report mentions that the upgrades will generally focus on 4K and 60fps upgrade support across the board.
The PS5 Pro launches November 7, 2024, for $699.99 in the US, with preorders going up on September 26, 2024. It will not include a disc drive. The vertical stand for the console will be sold separately. Make sure to check back on the site for the latest news on Sony’s enhanced console.
