We’re sure there are other noteworthy gems in the sale, but if you’re looking for something scary ahead of Halloween 2024, try Resident Evil, Silent Hill inspired Tormented Souls.

Players have until September 26 to snag Tormented Souls for $1.99. There’s even a free demo, if you’re on the fence. But for that price, we highly recommend just giving it a shot. Folks in the UK and EU can also purchase the game for £1.59 and €1.99, respectively, until the sale ends.
Developed by Dual Effect and published by PQube, Tormented Souls released in 2022 to a Metacritic score of 72/100 (PS5 version). Those into classic horror games may particularly enjoy it. Just don’t go in expecting the world.
For trophy hunters, Tormented Soul doesn’t come with a difficult or time-consuming Platinum. It takes roughly 15 hours to pop all the trophies, depending on skill and play style. It’s all single-player, and there aren’t any glitched trophies.
