LittleBigPlanet 3 and Its DLC Being Delisted From PS Store

After nearly 10 years, LittleBigPlanet 3 and its DLC is getting delisted from the PlayStation store. Anyone wanting to grab a digital copy of the game has until October 31, 2024 to pick it up before it’s gone forever.

LittleBigPlanet 3 delisted nearly 10 years after release

The announcement comes from the official LittleBigPlanet X (formerly Twitter) account. The post essentially thanks everyone that supported the game, and informs everyone of the October 31, 2024 delisting date. They do specify that anyone that purchases LittleBigPlanet3 and its DLC will still have access to it when it gets delisted from the PlayStation Store. Check out the full statement below.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is currently available for $19.99. Most of the DLC are costume packs ranging from $1.99 to $5.99. The only exception is the Back to the Future Level Kit, which includes costumes, music, stickers, objects, decorations, and more based on the beloved film franchise. There are quite a few DLC packs, so getting everything may be costly, but its all there for anyone who wants to grab it.

Although LittleBigPlanet 3 was developed by Sumo Digital, the series was created by Media Molecule. The company took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their gratitude to the game and its community.

“LittleBigPlanet shaped us as a studio & remains an important part of who we are,” wrote Media Molecule in their post. “We are & always will be forever grateful for it & the incredible community it has inspired.”

The delisting comes several months after LittleBigPlanet 3’s servers were abruptly taken offline indefinitely. Back in Janurary, the decision was made to shut down the servers, with all its online services no longer available. This includes all the user generated content players created using the game’s unique tool set. Any user created content saved on the console can still be played, and offline features like its campaign are still available.
