As promised, Team Asobi has detailed upcoming Astro Bot updates that’ll add new speedrun levels and special bots for players to rescue. The updates will roll out on a weekly basis starting this Thursday, October 17, and will be free for all players.
Astro Bot weekly updates: schedule and content
The first speedrun level, titled Building Speed, will be out tomorrow at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET. The rest of the updates will follow the same schedule (day and time) until November 14.

- Oct 31: Spring-loaded Run
- Nov 7: Helium Heights
- Nov 14: Rising Heat
Each of the speedrun levels above will come with two special bots to rescue, including Eve from Stellar Blade and Helldivers bot. That’s 10 additional bots in total.
Team Asobi is adding an online leaderboard for players to compete with one another. For now, we’ve received an overview of Building Speed only, which has players blasting through a city in the sky.
“Dodge cranes, smash through crates, and even speed through a flying car wash on the way to rescue your stranded crew,” Team Asobi wrote on the PS Blog.
Last but not least, the studio has teased “even more surprises coming soon.” Stay tuned.
