Phasmophobia PS5, PSVR 2 and Xbox Series X|S versions have received a new release date following a series of delays. Developer Kinetic Games has announced that its hit horror game will release just in time for Halloween on October 29, 2024.
Phasmophobia PS5, PSVR 2 release date is firm this time around
Players would be forgiven for being skeptical about the new release date, but this time, Kinetic Games seems firm. Phasmophobia’s console versions will support cross-play at launch, allowing console players to join its existing player base of a staggering 20 million on PC.
Phasmophobia released in early access in 2020 and quickly became popular among players. The game wooed players and critics alike, and went on to win two awards.

To recap, Phasmophobia is a four-player online co-op, psychological horror game. Players will be part of a team of paranormal investigators who have to go into locations filled with paranormal activity to gather evidence.
Phasmophobia features over 10 locations, five difficulties, daily and weekly challenges, and more. All the locations come with unique characteristics, like hiding spots.
