Star Wars Outlaws Update 1.3 Patch Notes Reveal Important Fixes

Star Wars Outlaws has been rough shape since its August launch. Luckily for players, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have implemented several sizeable patches that continue to improve the game. That continues with Star Wars Outlaws update 1.3, which brings another round of fixes and improvements to the spacefaring game.

What fixes were in the Star Wars Outlaws update 1.3 patch notes?

Clocking in at 3.48 GB for PS5, Star Wars Outlaws update 1.3 focuses on stealth, enemy AI, and speeder travel. These are the “notable changes” from the most recent update:

  • Implemented stealth changes to ‘False Flag’ and other missions to give players more flexibility in how they approach situations without the risk of failing
  • Improved speeder travel by reducing collisions with objects in the environment
  • Improved NPC combat behavior
  • Increased auto-save opportunities in open world hostile areas (Imperial Compounds and Faction Territories)
  • Scaled ‘Wanted’ difficulty based on player progression
  • Improved AI speeder avoidance

There are several other key improvements made with the Star Wars Outlaws update 1.3. One of which players seem to be excited about is removing the glitch effect while using the Electrobinoculars. On the game’s Reddit page, many are celebrating its removal, stating the effect was a bit overdone. One person even said it gave them motion sickness. There is a whole list of other improvements and fixes made, which you can view on the full patch notes here

As Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment continue to update Star Wars Outlaws, the developer has invited players to report any issue with the new dedication Bug Reporter tool. This lets players keep track of the status of their issue a bit more easily.

Within the patch notes, it is announced the fourth title update will release on November 21, 2024. The statement says it will be the “biggest one yet” and will have more details about it soon.
