Hexworks and CI Games confirmed its action RPG Lords of the Fallen will have PS5 Pro enhancements. The game will take advantage of the new and improved hardware when it launches on November 7, 2024.
What are the Lords of the Fallen PS5 Pro enhancements?
It is claimed the Lords of the Fallen PS5 Pro enhancements will bring a 40% increase in pixel density, making the final picture sharper, and more detailed. The enhanced “Performance Mode” runs at 4K resolution upscaled from 1440p. It will run at a smooth 60 frames per second, sharper distant details, and refined textures. The “Quality Mode” will run at native 4K resolution, and 30 FPS. Specifics on how the picture is improved are not disclosed, but the press release states it showcases “intricate visuals across the dual realms of Axiom and Umbral at a stable 30 FPS.”
Hexworks and CI Games also announced it has further plans for updates and enhancements across all platforms. It claims much of the updates are based on player feedback.
Lords of the Fallen launched for PS5 in October 2023. It did alright critically, garnering an overall 75 score on Metacritic. It is currently available on the PlayStation Store for $69.99; the Deluxe Edition costs $79.99.

Lords of the Fallen is just one of many PS5 Pro enhanced games that will receive an update by the new console’s launch. There are currently more than 80 games that will eventually take advantage of the improved hardware. This includes Spider-Man 2, Stellar Blade, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
