Shift Up just surprise dropped Stellar Blade update 1.009.001 a day earlier than announced, bringing free content and support for Nier: Automata DLC. Players are already having a blast with the Photo Mode, which comes with four new outfits unlocked via photo challenge quests.

The Nier: Automata DLC is available to purchase from the PS Store now and will go live tomorrow, November 20. However, players can access four free outfits right away by completing the challenge quests associated with the Photo Mode.
In addition to the above, the ‘Symbol of Legacy’ accessory that changes the look of the Tachy mode is now available. To recap, here’s what update 1.009.001 brings:
- Nier: Automata’s Emil will set up an in-game shop with 11 special collaboration items
- Photo mode
- Four new costumes (complete Photography Club quest from the bulletin board in Xion)
- New look for Tachy mode
- Lip sync support for French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.
- The ability to pick specific songs at the camp turntable
- ‘No ponytail’ Eve character customization option
- In battle, auto-targeting and “ballistics correction features” have been added to enemy insta-kill skills
The patch weighs up to 3GB, depending on region.
