Sony has multiple PlayStation 30th anniversary events running right now, but one of its best events is limited to a few countries. For a number of years, a few European countries have been enjoying annual PlayStation Advent Calendar challenges, which offers players a chance to earn credits, win physical prizes, and unlock digital freebies. The 2024 PlayStation Advent Calendar event is 30th anniversary-themed, but unfortunately, it’s still limited.

There’s a little bit of good news for those outside Austria, Germany, and Switzerland — the only countries where the advent calendar is available. The exclusive avatar codes that players are unlocking after completing the challenges seem to be working in some countries outside of the above, including the U.K.
A Reddit thread contains a list of all the codes, which are unlocked daily. I have tested these codes on my U.K. PSN account and can confirm that they work.
Unfortunately, the codes do not work in the U.S. at the time of this writing.
For those wondering, PlayStation has regional teams working on such events and promotions. It’s unclear why North America and U.K. have been left out of the 30th anniversary-specific calendar, but if anything changes on that front, we’ll make sure to update our readers.
