Shift Up is celebrating the holidays with a surprise Christmas update for Stellar Blade. The Game Awards nominated action game will get some festive content for player to enjoy during the most wonderful time of the year.
What is the surprise Stellar Blade Christmas update?
In the Stellar Blade Christmas update, the city of Xion will get a holiday makeover. The city square will now have warm lights and decorations to help spread the Christmas cheer. The Last Gulp will also have some holiday decorations to check out. A new mini-game is available in Xion that will let players grab some rewards when completed.
Eve’s camp features some holiday decorations. Also added is the seasonal BGM “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take Me Away”.
Arguably the most exciting bit of content coming to Stellar Blade are the holiday themed cosmetics. Eve receives the new Santa Dress, which will surely appease fans. Also added is the Santa Girl hairstyle, Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs, allowing players to customize their Eve’s holiday look.
Adam gets the I’m No Santa costume, which makes it look like Santa is carrying him on his shoulders. Lastly, the Drone gets the Rudolph Pack cosmetic, which gives the Drone a Rudolph mask complete with a glowing red nose.
Not feeling festive? Not a problem. Shift Up added a toggle that turns Seasonal content on or off. They’ve added an identical toggle for DLC content. This will allow players to turn on or off the NieR: Automata DLC within the settings.
Stellar Blade players won’t have to wait too long for the new content. The holiday update releases tomorrow, December 17, 2024.
