Next Xbox Games Coming to PS5 Leaked by Insider

A duo of Xbox exclusive titles are reportedly coming to PS5 later this year according to industry insider NateDrake. Both of these games are incredibly popular with Xbox players, with one of them featuring what many would consider the platform’s mascot.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Flight Simulator 2024 the next Xbox games coming to PS5

On the Nate The Hate Podcast, NateDrake claims there will be more Xbox games going multiplatform in 2025. He clarifies this is beyond the expected games like Doom: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2.

“So, games that I have heard will be released multiplatform in 2025 beyond the obvious include Flight Simulator; will come to PlayStation 5 and Switch 2. And Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to PS5 and Switch 2 as well,” says Nate Drake.

The next bit he claims is a bit more speculative because it hasn’t been revealed in any capacity yet. He also states that if the rumored Gears of War Collection does exist, it would be a day one launch for PS5. Really, this statement is to compliment the point that they believe any Xbox game that releases in 2025 will find its way to PS5. Whether it is day one or a staggered release is not known, but there is a good chance it varies depending on the game.

Like all rumors and speculation, take it with a grain of salt. These games have yet to be formally revealed. However, NateDrake has been pretty reliable in the past, so their may be some truth to the claims.

Halo’s arrival on a PlayStation platform has been speculated for quite some time now. Earlier last year, former Xbox boss Peter Moore said they believe conversations about a PlayStation port of Halo were happening. Other insiders have claimed Master Chief would make it onto PlayStation in some form, including a new remaster of the first entry.

It was also previously rumored that Microsoft Flight Simulator would head to PS5.
